How to play
Every square pairs a row and a column: clubs, countries, leagues or trophies. Type any player and he goes into every square he fits. Rarer answers score more. Press DONE? when you have had enough. There is no clock.
Common questions
A correct answer was marked wrong. Player histories come from public football data and occasionally miss a spell. Email us the player and the square and we will fix it.
How is my score worked out? Each answer earns 1, 2, 4, 7 or 10 points depending on how few people named that player in that square. You lose 1 point per wrong guess and 2 per hint. Until 20 people have played a daily grid, rarity is estimated from how well known each player is.
How do leagues work? Start one in the Leagues tab and share the code. Everyone's daily scores add up from Monday to Sunday (Irish time). You need Sign in with Apple to join a league, so your record is safe if you change phone.
Someone has an offensive name. Tap their name on any leaderboard, league table, challenge or co-op room and choose Report this name or Block player. Blocking hides their name from you everywhere. We review every report within 24 hours and reset names that break the rules. A name reported by three different players is reset straight away.
How do I delete my account? Profile, then Delete my account. Everything is removed straight away. See the privacy policy.
Community rules
The only thing players write that others can see is their display name. Names that are abusive, hateful, sexual or that impersonate someone are not allowed. There is zero tolerance: offending names are reset and repeat offenders can be removed. Names are also checked against a word filter when they are saved.
